People keep wondering why Nigerian politicians do not bother about ideology and I also keep wondering why these stereotype grammar-speaking people expect the politicians to bother about ideology. In the Nigerian situation, ideologies simply do not yield the desired results. The things that yield the desired results are personality, tribal, religious, regional leanings, incumbency factor, flock effect, etc. Why would anyone expect them to leave things that produce the desired results and go for those that don’t whether morally right or wrong?
