The 13th International Conference and Exhibition on Power and Telecommunications (tagged ICEPT 2017) organized by the Nigerian Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (NIEEE) took place from 9th to 13th October, 2017 at the National Engineering Centre, Central Business District, Abuja. The theme was “Sustainable Economic Development Using Power and Communications”
The conference was held concurrently at the same venue with the 26th October lecture of the Nigerian Society of Engineers with the theme “Energy Situation in Africa: Opportunities and Challenges”.
It was honoured by Dr. Shamsuddeen Usman, Former Minister of National Planning Commission (NPC), Senator Mohammed Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, Senator and former governor of Kano state, Engr. Otis Oliver Anyaeji, Present President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr. Mustafa B. Shehu, Past President of NSE and the immediate past president of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations (FAEO) andother top dignitaries and engineering personnel.
Well enriched lectures were delivered by the key speakers and contributions from various participants were welcomed. Awards were presented to guest speakers.
