This is the right thinking, although it may have to be adopted gradually in a comprehensive manner: training, remuneration, etc. Working towards having the best graduates for teaching is best for our society. This policy should also be extended to the Police and the armed forces.
What do the NNPC staff do that can ever justify their annual staff salaries exceeding the annual budgets of three states combined? If teachers should swap positions with NNPC in terms of earning, Nigeria would be a wonderful country in a decade!
