This ban on interstate travel, how much sense does it really make? Or is it meant to apply only to the major roads? I keep wondering: are the states no longer made of natural population distributions from pre-1914? Is there a state in Nigeria that has clearly marked boundaries right around it?
More than 80% of most state boundaries are made up of rural communities. How would the ban be implemented for two neighbouring communities but in different states who have been communicating with each other in different ways for centuries? What does interstate travel ban mean to such communities?
