Burial of COAS

Burial of COAS

Watching on TV yesterday the burial of the late COAS and others was quite agonizing. From time to time, I had to take my sight off the screen. May their souls rest in peace. The absence of the C-in-C during the burial(which took place at his doorstep) created conflict in my mind. Although it seemed to fit into a trend, since on this occasion I do not know his reasons, I choose to hold back my judgement for now. The C-in-C always needs to identify verbally, physically, and emotionally with military men who die in active service
