Is the incidence of coup d’état rising in Africa? If so, why?
Most governments around the world embark on unrestrained condemnation of military takeover of governments. Their reason? Democratically elected!!! What should citizens of a country do when they see clearly that their democratically elected government is fast driving them to a point of no return in crises? Fold their arms and watch?
It is crazy to think that a government, however evil minded, deserves to serve out its tenure just because it has been ‘democratically’ elected.
No excuses for BF’s coup plotters, just food for thought.
