I hope that the likes of Kingsley Moghalu, Fela Durotoye, Donald Duke, etc would have gone back to the drawing board in preparation for 2023 when most members of the old brigade would have effectively retired. And indeed 2027.
Hopefully, they would have learnt some lessons: first, it doesn’t always come easy, second, it is childish for a hundred people to troop to the start line of a presidential race. If they can’t build meaningful coalitions, dissolve themselves in teams in the interest of the bigger picture, their qualifications for the number one sit become doubtful.
Each and everyone of them can contribute immensely to the speedy development of the country from different positions in one dispensation. Everyone cannot be president at the same time. Overall interest of the country should override all others.
If everyone of them has the same objective, that is, taking Nigeria to the highest level, it should therefore be easy for them to work out how all can team up and achieve that objective.
