There is still a lot I don’t understand about the Nigerians-in-Libya situation.
We hear hundreds of stranded Nigerians have returned. The impression I get is that they needed help and the Nigerian govt provided that help by way of bringing them home.
On return they always tell us stories of horrible experiences: starvation, indiscriminate detentions, beatings, etc. We are also told that they are being resettled here in Nigeria. Strangely, from time to time we hear that hundreds of them have already gone back to Libya and that more have vowed to follow suit.
This is confusing!
