Deafening silence in Abia in the face of huge fraud discovery due to longstanding intimidation by powers that be – Bar. Ubani.
The average Abian in my opinion is a strong and courageous man and cannot be silenced by mere intimidation to such an extent. The practice is rather traditional and not restricted to Abia state but widespread in the SE. It is time to start changing the tradition and start holding our leaders accountable. It is an irony that a region that boasts of some of the most educated and widely traveled Nigerians cannot stand up and demand accountability by their leaders
