US considering military action against Nigeria over handling of insecurity.
That the Nigerian leadership has tolerated worsening insecurity; true.
That there is clear cut genocide against Christians in Nigeria; false.
That the Nigerian govt perpetrates insecurity all over Nigeria; false.
That individuals some of who may be in govt secretly aid and abet acts of insecurity; true.
So, who would the US military be attacking?
Aso Rock villa? Not appropriate.
Bandits in the forest? May be appropriate.
Boko Haram members? May be appropriate.
Financiers of both groups? Beautiful.
Other perpetrators of insecurity around the country? Fine.
But how does the genocide claim against Christians in Nigeria compare with the killings in Gaza?
In Gaza, the killings are carried out by a govt. In Nigeria, the killings are carried out by individual or groups of criminals.

50,000 Gazans killed in 2 years by the same authority in similar circumstances. 6,000 Christians killed in Nigeria by different groups in different circumstances in 2 years. That is, more than 8 times more people killed in Gaza than the number of Christians killed in Nigeria in same period. And yet, the propagator of the strongest air waves at the moment supports the former and prepares for war against the latter. The logic speaks for itself.
