“I have 4 wives and 27 children, and still counting”.
The lawmaker representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada federal constituency of Kano state in the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Daguwa declared on the floor of the house on Wednesday January 29, 2020. Not just that, he paraded the four wives before the house members. Possibly the 27 children were also lining up outside for confirmation in case anyone had doubts. All this was just to prove that he was a powerful man at home.
Born in 1965, to a prominent political family (his father being a prominent member of a first republic political party, NEPU), Alhassan Ado Daguwa has a first class degree in mass communication from Bayero University, Kano. He has already served 12 years in the House of Reps. How do we explain all these?
