Some people expressed surprise that some members of the Police Force compromised their positions in the process of implementing the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. I wonder why. Have the other segments of our society changed? Why were they expecting the police alone to change? Some may say oh this is different, it’s a matter of life and death.
Is it not the same organization that contains the elements that have always been ready to shoot and kill for N10? Are we not still hearing about fraudulent activities in the processes designed to ameliorate the sufferings of the poorest of the poor during the same life and death pandemic? No section of our society will become born again Christians overnight. We need to work and take everyone along.
