Kudos to the Lagos state police for the recent spectacular smashing of a billionaire kidnap gang in Lagos. More of that please. The gang was said to have originated from the SE. It’s quite probable that the gang travelled all the way from the SE with all those arms and ammunition without detection by security agents. And yet whenever I travel a few kilometers away from the city centre I get stopped and checked 3 to 4 times before I get to my destination. How did they make it?
