This morning Channels TV broadcast the impounding of sub-standard tyres in 60 containers worth billions of Naira and the arrest of two Chinese nationals behind the importation.
This did not happen at the first port of entry. So some collaboration by some members of the Nigerian society with the security agencies must have taken place.
This is good news. I commend those that made the bursting possible and strongly urge all Nigerians to do likewise in all corners of the country at all levels. With this, before long Nigeria will be rid of sub-standard goods that now dominate the Nigerian market which will be good for all of us. We have to do it ourselves. No outsider or one man can do it for us.
