One of the traditional demands of labour unions is “Cut in Cost of governance”. This is easy to see and supported by most Nigerians. Why would labour not embark on industrial action against specific cases when they come up? A good example is the story that the HoRs plans to buy SUVs of N160m each for all the 360 members. The presidency may not have the constitutional powers to expressly stop the HoRs from buying the SUVs. I believe a nationwide industrial action against a move most Nigerians consider as complete madness would be a huge success. There are other beautiful examples.
