I often hear people try to teach us the correct meaning of Federal System of govt. True, a good player should keep to agreed rules of the game. Isn’t it time those political eggheads came up with a modified or completely new system of government for our situation?
Must we continue to insist on implementing every aspect of the federal system whether suitable for us or not? The designers of the federal system we are operating did not have us in mind and since we are significantly different from those societies it was designed for, it cannot be the best for us.
If our heads are where they are supposed to be, we should understand our society better than outsiders. We should therefore be in the best position to fashion out a system most suitable for our society. The time is now, we have come of age.
