The state governors have refused to devolve power to the local government, the state judiciary and the state legislature as already provided for but are busy demanding devolution of power from the federal to state government which is yet to be provided for constitutionally. This inherent contradiction in position is easy to see.
This is a typical Nigerian tradition: refusing to let the existing structure function and constantly demanding change of system(restructuring) thereby denying ourselves the full benefits of existing structure while seeking ways of structure improvement.
