The guest of Channels TV SUNRISE DAILY this morning (Isa Yuguda I think) said that one of the subsidy scammers told the then President Buhari that they(the scammers) were tired of making money, he should remove the subsidy. This(if true) confirms that President Buhari was fully aware of the scam in the fuel subsidy regime but did nothing to arrest it. Was he under a spell? Was he scared for his life? Or was he part of the scheme? Difficult to say, but definitely puzzling that the incorruptible iron man chose to do nothing.
