Now that the matter is settled, I hope that the great man will channel his energies towards more productive ventures especially in the bid towards making Nigeria a great nation, not necessarily aligning with any particular party.

It will be a very good last chapter of his highly successful life. By so doing, he can actually make more history than presidents and ex-presidents. He has what it takes to make a change in that direction.

He and some others would have learnt that upturning the victory in a presidential election takes more than wishful thinking. I still say, that he has lost more than he has gained in embarking in an obviously wasteful legal battle.

The gainers? The legal icons who deceptively raised his hopes of victory(and must now be smiling home with millions) and millions of his supporters who needed gradual balming of their emotional sides.

All in the short term, however. In the long term, we all have lost.

God bless Nigeria.
